Welcome to Skyball
What Skyball does, and the four steps from a fresh account to your first broken-down match.
Skyball turns match film into data: upload a recording and every touch comes back tagged — who, when, what skill, how it graded — with the film, stats, and sharing tools built on top. The app has three sections in the header: Film (your library, the review player, playlists), Stats (box scores, advanced impact numbers, trends), and Team (roster, player identification, profiles).
From zero to your first match
- Sign in. Skyball uses one-time email codes — no password. See signing in.
- Create your team and add jersey numbers. Numbers are how Skyball tells your players from the other side of the net. See create your team and build your roster.
- Upload a match — drop the file on the upload page, or import it from YouTube. Filming right matters: how to record.
- Watch it come back. Processing takes roughly the length of the footage; you get a notification when it is ready. See processing, status, and what you get back.
Your first three matches and one practice process free and are fully open to the whole team, forever. After that, film keeps processing and every rally stays watchable free — the per-player breakdown is what a pass unlocks. Details in plans and passes.
Getting the team in
One invite link does it: on the Team page or Account page, press Create invite link and drop it in the group chat. Players and family join with their own email and pick their jersey. Who can do what is in roles and members.
