Sign in with a one-time code

No passwords — Skyball emails you a six-digit code or a one-tap link. Here is the flow and every way it can go sideways.

Skyball has no passwords. You sign in at /login with your email, and a code arrives in your inbox.

The steps

  1. Enter your email and press Send sign-in code.
  2. Check your inbox for "…is your Skyball sign-in code". Either type the six-digit code (it submits itself on the sixth digit) or tap the sign-in link in the email — one tap and you land on your dashboard.
  3. That's it. The session persists on that device.

Things worth knowing

  • The code and link expire in 10 minutes, and five wrong attempts burn them. "That code didn't work. It may have expired." means request a fresh one.
  • Codes only go to emails that are on a team. If you see "Check your inbox" but nothing arrives (and it isn't in spam), your email probably isn't on the roster yet — ask your coach to add you, or join through the team's invite link. See roles and members.
  • Signed in but the app says "No team yet"? You are verified but not on any team — same fix: the invite link, or start your own free team at /start.
  • Sign out lives on the Account page (your avatar, top right).
