Filter the touch log

Cut a match down to one team, one player, one skill, or one result tier — and make the film play only that.

Every touch in the match is in the log, and the filters cut both the log and the film: with a filter on, the « and » jump buttons (and the d/f keys) walk the filtered touches instead of serve-to-serve, so pressing play tours exactly what you asked for.

The four filters

  • Team — Both, or one side. (Practices have no team filter.)
  • Player — All, one player by name, or Unknown (unidentified) for touches not yet mapped to your roster — see player identification.
  • Skill — Attack, Reception, Set, Dig, Block, Serve, Freeball rcv, Freeball sent. Pick several; a CLEAR chip appears once anything is selected.
  • Result — the grade tiers, shown as their scout symbols # + ! - / =. What each symbol means is in the touch log and grades.

On a phone they are four buttons directly under the film; on a desktop, a panel beside it; in fullscreen, the Filters drawer from the right rail.

Quick cuts

  • ⚡ IMPACT PLAYS — one chip that filters to the five touches that swung win probability the most.
  • Set chips — "all sets", "set 1", "set 2", … and "late in the set" (rallies that began with either side at 20+).
  • "needs review" — the touches Skyball flagged as low confidence. Fix or delete one and it leaves the list; see editing and correcting touches.
  • On practices, segment chips filter to a drill segment and jump the film to its start.

Search

The search box takes plain words and combines them: maya attack finds Maya's attacks. Position words work too — setter serve matches by roster position, so it keeps working even when you forget a name.

Press enter while in a filter or the search box to start playing the first touch that matches.
