Playlists and clips

A playlist is a list of clips cut from your match film, in the order you want them. Deleting a playlist never touches the film itself.

Three ways to add a clip

1. From a touch row — press + on any row in the touch log, then tap an existing playlist or type a new name and press Enter. This clip covers the touch's moment.
2. In fullscreen — the ＋ button on the left rail files the whole rally under the playhead. The drawer lists your playlists as pills; New playlist opens a create form with a name, a 12-emoji icon shelf, and visibility: Private ("just for me") or Team ("visible to everyone on the team"). New playlists start private.
3. Like a touch — the heart files a short clip (the touch and the three seconds after it) into your automatic Liked touches list.

Players linked to the roster also get For you lists — auto-cut from their own touches.

The Playlists page (Film → Playlists)

• Folders organize playlists (create with "+ New folder"; move playlists with the Move to menu). Deleting a folder moves its playlists back to the top level.
• Reorder clips with the ↑ ↓ arrows — list order is presentation order. Add a coach note to any clip (280 characters).
• Share with team / Make private toggles visibility; Assign to team turns a playlist into homework with an optional due date — assigned players get a notification.
• Play all runs the list as a reel; ▶ Present is the same thing fullscreen for a film session, driven by the keyboard (j/k clip, c play/pause).

Downloading

• One clip: the download icon on its row saves an .mp4.
• The whole playlist: Download cuts and joins the reel into a single mp4 server-side (up to 30 minutes of total film per download).

Two kinds of links

• Copy link — an internal link for teammates; it opens the playlist inside the app.
• Share externally — a guest link for someone *outside* the team, no sign-in needed. That one has its own article.
