Comments and @mentions
Discuss the film touch by touch — mentions that notify, reactions, replies, and how the thread plays back with the match.
Comments pin to a moment: select a touch and the composer reads "Comment on the touch at 12:04…" — post, and the comment is anchored there for everyone. Comment with no touch selected and it lands on the whole match.
Posting and mentioning
- Type in the composer under the film. ⌘/Ctrl+Enter posts.
- Tap an @Name chip (or type it) to mention someone — every player and coach on the program can be mentioned. The people you mention get a notification that deep-links straight to the touch.
- Mention a whole group with @everyone, @coaches, or @players — chips for all three sit at the front of the row, and typing works too (@all, @team, and @here all mean @everyone). Everyone in the group gets the same notification; family accounts are never included, since they can't reply.
- Your own comments can be deleted with the ✕ on the row.
The thread plays back with the film
On a desktop, the comments card only shows comments the playhead has reached — watching a match plays the discussion back in the order it happened, without spoiling the next rally. The counter tells you what is ahead ("4 before this point"), and the amber flags on the scrub bar jump straight to any comment.
Reactions and replies
Four reactions — 👍 ❤️ 😂 👎 — one per person per comment (picking a different one moves yours). Reply starts a comment at the same moment, pre-filled with @their-name.
In fullscreen
When the film reaches a commented moment, the comment slides in along the bottom for about eight seconds. Tap it (or the Comments bubble on the right rail) to open the sheet; while you type a reply the film pauses, and it resumes when you send or cancel. See fullscreen viewing.
Who can comment
Owners, coaches, and players. Family accounts watch and like — commenting is for players and coaches, and by default the thread itself stays between them. Team staff can open the thread to family accounts (read-only) with the Family comments toggle on the Account page. Roles are covered in roles and members.
