Notifications

What lands in the bell, what arrives by email, and how read/unread works.

The bell in the header collects everything worth telling you, with an unread count. Opening the panel marks what you see as read; clicking a row takes you to the thing it is about.

What creates a notification

  • "[Match] is ready to review" — to the whole team, with the touch summary, linking straight into the film.
  • Processing trouble — a failure goes to the uploader; slow or restarted runs tell the team what happened and that it was moved to a fresh machine.
  • @mentions — someone tagged you in a comment; the link lands on the exact touch. See comments and @mentions.
  • "[Coach] assigned film: [playlist]" — homework, with the clip count and due date (playlists).
  • Team changes — coaches hear when someone joins via the invite link or a pass is added.
  • Streak reminders — "🔥 5-day streak on the line" when midnight approaches.
  • Notes from Skyball — an operator occasionally leaves a human-written note about one of your matches.

Email

Two events also email the uploader: ready to review and didn't process — so a match finishing while you're away doesn't rely on the bell. Reply to any Skyball email and a person reads it.

The panel keeps your latest 200 notifications. "Nothing yet. Match updates, team joins and @-mentions land here."
